GreenPark near Reading is a new venue for Human Race and we will be putting on our first event there this summer. The triathlon will be a SuperSprint featuring a 400m one-lap open water swim, a 15km multi-lap bike on closed roads and a 3km run which will be one lap around the side of the lake. The event is ideal for the starter triathlete looking to do their first open water race.
Early application is essential as the event will fill very quickly. We are expecting over 500 competitors to race.
Electronic chip timing will be used at the event and each competitor will receive an event t-shirt.
Non-members of British Triathlon (Triathlon England, triathlonscotland or the Welsh Triathlon Association) will have to pay the day membership fee of £5 at registration. If you are a member, please remember to bring your membership card to the event for registration.
Prizes will be awarded to the first three in each wave/category. Details of wave sizes, timings and course maps will be sent out at least two weeks before the race. This race information will also be available on this website. Results will only appear on the website.
The official hotel, which is just a 10 minute walk from the start, is the four star Millennium Madejski Hotel Reading. Email reservations.reading@millenniumhotels.co.uk
This is the same venue that is being used by the Corus Series Elite race so why not come and race over the same course that they will be using?
