Half Distance: 8.2 miles £22

RunKingston is an endurance running event covering the distances of 16 miles or 8.2 miles. The scenic run loop is extremely flat and takes place in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. The route follows the Thames Towpath, taking in Hampton Court Palace and Thames Ditton before returning to Kingston Town Centre.

The 16 mile distance is perfect for those preparing for the New York Marathon some four weeks later. There will be accurate mile markers on a very flat course which is ideal for pace judgement for your big day.

COURSE RECORDS:

8.2 mile 41:14 Phil Wicks, 2005

16 mile  1:27:46 Ty Berg, 2004

RaceLocation

The race is based in the heart of Kingston Town Centre starting and finishing in the Ancient Market Place. If you don't know where Kingston-upon-Thames is, try this location map from streetmap.co.uk

This is a great opportunity to do an early morning run and then meet your partner afterwards for breakfast before embarking on some endurance shopping!
