Zoggs and Human Race will be hosting an open water swim training day at Dorney Lake with 1½ hr sessions (45 minutes theoretical and 45 minutes swimming practical).

Starting an open water triathlon with confidence is key for every competitor and our aim is to provide you with all the advice and support to help you achieve this. The training will be aimed at novices as well as more experienced triathletes looking to improve their open water swimming technique early in the season. We will split you into groups according to your ability and the session will provide you with practical and theoretical advice by a number of triathlon experts, lead by Olympic and World Champion triathlon coach Bill Black.

Zoggs and blueseventy wetsuits will be there to enable you to test their products and experts will provide you with advice on all aspects of the swim section including

Goggles – correct fitting and top tips whilst racing
Wetsuit – correct fitting and how to get it on and off quickly
Open water swimming techniques
Race top tips
for group starts, course sighting etc

RaceLocation

The course is on the same day as the BananaMan and you will be able to see triathlon racing at first hand. Excellent changing facilities and hot showers are available as well as a fully stocked café with hot food and drinks.
