Borneo is the third largest island in the world and is probably one of those exotic places that you've always had on your 'must vist' list - so here's your opportunity! The Borneo Jungle Adventure Challenge is a whole new departure for Human Race:
You'll arrive in the jungle and get 1½ days of specialist jungle training to prepare you for the days ahead. The adventure starts with a 4k run in 35°c/90% humidity before you are helicoptered deep into the jungle where you'll use your new jungle skills to build your camp.
Following a night in the jungle, you'll trek out to start the main challenge:
- Stage 1: Bike / Run over 8km with two bikes and two runners
- Stage 2: Race the rapids of the Kiulu river in an inflatable and then build a bamboo raft to continue your journey down river
- Stage 3: A second Bike / Run over 8.5km in the heat of the day
- Stage 4: Climb the highest mountain in SE Asia, the 4,100m peak known as the ‘Stairmaster from Hell’! The final ascent to the summit starts at 2am which means you'll arrive for the world's greatest sunrise
After all that exertion you'll really enjoy the last night at our party in a 5* hotel and spa based at the world's #1 dive site, Sipadan. And now you can take a holiday and enjoy the delights of Borneo or just stay put and relax in 5* luxury!
