The Ballbuster
race takes you over Box Hill, near Dorking in Surrey, a total of 5 times with
each loop being 8 miles long; 2 on foot and 3 in the saddle. It is a severe test
of stamina and should not be taken lightly. It is the equivalent to running a
marathon and should be treated with the utmost respect. Many fail each year!
We know that our traditional November date always has the possibility of unpredictable
weather and there's no reason to believe that our Spring date is any less
likely to catch us unawares! Make sure you dress accordingly. Extreme care must
be taken in all aspects of the race. Marshals, First Aid and support back-up
services will be available.
A map of the course is available online and for those of a more technical nature we've plotted the course onto Google Earth: RIGHT CLICK this link to download and save the map data (This is NOT a web page, you need to download the file and then open it in Google Earth.) [If you don't have Google Earth, get a copy here!]
