Britain's best fitness magazine, Men's Fitness, is holding its very own off-road race event at Dorney Lake, the home of Human Race's Eton SuperSprint Triathlons, BananaMan Triathlon and Dorney Standard Distance Triathlon. It will also be the venue for the rowing events at the 2012 Olympic Games. It's a fantastic venue and a great place to bring spectators and friends. Men's
Fitness will be profiling the event every month and there will be some great tips and offers based around the event.
It's open to men and women, newcomers people who want to have some fun and hardened triathletes. This is your chance to sign up now.

Where: Dorney Lake, Windsor This is the ideal racing venue, with a large, clean lake for swimming and miles of car-free tracks for the cycling and running. Dorney Lake is only minutes from junction 7 of the M4 and has plenty of parking space. It's also an ideal viewing venue, so bring the family and make a day of it.
What: You can sign up for one of four events:

Event covers an 800m swim, 20km mountain bike ride and a 9km run.

Event covers a 400m swim, 10km mountain bike ride and a 4.5km run.

Event is for a team of three, each doing one stage of the 800m swim, 20km bike and 9km run.

Event covers a 5km run, 10km mountain bike ride and a 4.5km run.
The course is relatively flat and obstacle-free, but the tracks will be rough and potentially muddy, so a mountain bike will be required. Leave your skinny-wheeled road bike in the garage for this one.
